Kaitlyn Jo Smith is an artist who is currently living and working in Tucson, Arizona, where she is pursuing her MFA at the University of Arizona. Smith received her BFA at the Columbus College of Art and Design in her home state of Ohio. Her art often includes found imagery and objects containing themes of nostalgia and a strong longing for home by combing specific memories with stereotypes, expectations and idealizations of place. Smith has been exhibited nationally and her photographs have been published in Archive Collective Magazine, Don’t Smile, Photographers Forum and PDNedu.
